Everyone asks about the baby. We’re here for you

You are a whole person. That person also has a baby.

You have a career, a sense of humour and opinions about things that have nothing to do with sleep schedules, nappy changes or tummy time.

Sometimes that person can feel hard to find. You’re not imagining it, and you’re not the only one.

ABOUT FERN

This isn’t another app about your baby.

No nappy logs or feeding trackers. Fern supports you from your fourth trimester to through your Matrescence journey

Keep your village close

Make sense of who you’re becoming. Write it down or throw it away or regulate your emotions. Be reminded of the good days when you need it most.

A journal entry you can keep, destroy or share.

Feel less alone

Real stories from women going through the same unravelling and rebuilding as you. This isn’t about sharing advice, it’s the relief of recognising your experiences in others

Keep your village close

Show your people how you’re really doing and how to help without it being another thing for you to think about. Fern takes the pressure away. We’re on your side. Don’t want them to kiss your baby? Need your partner to understand how to help? We’ve got you.

A list of notes to visitors, chosen by the mother and shared with three people.

What to expect

We’ll say the awkward things that no-one warns you about - bleeding, milk coming in, the hair loss and flagging when it’s worth talking to a professional

A list of things to expect, with a note on when to call your GP.

We built Fern because we were looking for something to support our motherhood journey and couldn’t find it.

There was plenty to support pregnancy, menstruation and baby. But we couldn’t find anything that was designed to support everything we were going through as we became mothers.

Everything we build comes from our own experiences of motherhood and conversations with women going through what you’re going through now.
